NRMPI to Participate in AMEE International Conference on Medical Education
August 1, 2017
National Resident Matching Program International® (NRMPI®) is pleased to announce its participation in the 2017 meeting of the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE). The conference, taking place August 26-30 in Helsinki, Finland, provides a unique opportunity for medical educators from around the world to discuss areas of shared interest related to undergraduate and graduate medical education, curriculum development, and assessment. NRMPI will contribute to the conversation by sharing its expertise on how matching services work in the United States and how they can be implemented in other countries to support public and private agencies in physician recruitment and workforce planning.
President and CEO Mona M. Signer and Director of Match Operations Jeanette Calli will attend the conference. “We look forward each year to the AMEE conference and the opportunity to connect and share ideas with others in the global health community,” says Ms. Signer. “We encourage AMEE attendees to stop by our exhibit booth to learn more about NRMPI.”
Using its web-based technology and Nobel Prize winning mathematical algorithm, NRMPI assists agencies around the world in building high quality resident physician placement programs that address their unique needs and cultural and geographical differences. NRMPI welcomes the opportunity to build new collaborations that can transfer the success of its United States matching program to countries outside the U.S. and Canada. NRMPI is a subsidiary of the United States-based National Resident Matching Program, which for more than 60 years has placed physicians in U.S. residency training programs.
