NRMPI to Participate in AMEE International Conference on Medical Education
July 24, 2018
National Resident Matching Program International® (NRMPI®) is pleased to announce it will exhibit at the 2018 meeting of the Association for Medical Education in Europe (AMEE) taking place August 25-29 in Basel, Switzerland. AMEE offers educators around the world a valuable opportunity to discuss critical issues related to medical education, curriculum development, and assessment of competence. NRMPI will share information about how graduate medical education positions are filled in the United States using a mathematical algorithm and how the process can be implemented in other countries to support public and private agencies in recruitment and workforce planning for the health professions.
President and CEO Mona M. Signer and Chief of Match Operations Jeanette Calli will attend the conference. “We look forward each year to the AMEE conference and the opportunity to connect and share ideas with others in the global health community,” says Ms. Signer. “We encourage AMEE attendees to stop by our exhibit booth to learn more about NRMPI.”
Using web-based technology and a Nobel Prize winning mathematical algorithm, NRMPI assists agencies around the world in building high quality resident physician placement programs that address unique cultural and geographical needs. NRMPI welcomes the opportunity to build new collaborations that can transfer the success of its United States matching program to countries outside the U.S. NRMPI is a subsidiary of the United States-based National Resident Matching Program, which for more than 60 years has placed physicians in U.S. residency training programs.
